Our Snowy Escapades



Our family is definately one that embraces and lives life to the full.  Whilst a lot of people I know have been complaining about the weather, we have relished the chance to get out there and have fun together.  It all started on Friday when I had to pick the kids up from school early, I took all 3 sledges and their waterproofs and headed straight to the park with friends.  It was still snowing at this stage, but we spent a few hours happily sledging down a semi steep hill before heading home for "the best hot chocolate in the World".





 Saturday dawned, and we decided to go on a bit of a mission, whilst the slopes on Friday were good fun, they weren't particularily long and so we piled into the chelsea tractor and went a few miles up the road with friends to do a bit more "extreme" sledging.  We had such a brilliant time, although there were tears and tantrums a plenty, the majority of time was spent laughing and squealing!  Pixie turned out to be a bit of a daredevil and was constantly trying to come down the hill on her sledge lying down backwards like a kamikaze pilot she knew no fear.





 We then came home and snuggled on the sofa watching films and cuddling with the odd game of bananagrams or dominos for good measure.

    It's a damn nuisance and it's disruptive to the hilt, but the kids have such a great time! Lovely pictures.
